My husband and I were lucky and stumbled into Jon's walking tour. It was the most comprehensive, entertaining, educational and interesting walking tour we have ever taken and for the record we take them quite often. If only history could be taught to our children this way. Thank you Jon for making our stay in Beaufort so memorable.

Took Jon's tour for the second time. Jon transported me back in time as we wandered Beaufort's streets. He brings the town's history to life recounting tales of past inhabitants from colonial times to the present. His vast store of knowledge and love of history is impressive. A highlight of any trip to the South. Don't miss it!!

Jon's walking tour was the highlight of our stay in Beaufort...It exceeded the expectations of our entire group. His knowledge of the history of the low country, its people, architecture, culture, and plant life was spun into a fantastic tale. His storytelling pulled us in for over two hours, bringing it all to life while building an appreciation for the region and lasting memories. Id recommend it to everyone that passes through Beaufort. Thank you so much.

On Jan 5. 2012...we all took a bus tour with Jon...and were mesmerized by his knowledge, his passion, his humor and his wonderful story telling skills. Jon really helped us to appreciate the natural beauty of Beaufort, the magnificent oak trees and the low country. We talked about Jon's tour for days, and highly recommend Jon to anyone who visits Beaufort. Thanks so much.

A highlight of our visit to the Low Country was our walking tour of Beaufort with Jon. The way he tells the history of this area is magical -- you can almost feel yourself go back in time! I highly recommend this tour!!!

You will never see Beaufort like this from a horse drawn cart. Get out and walk it with Jon. Oh, and he does 80% of it walking backwards! This is the ONE tour to take if you visit Beaufort.

I've been on numerous walking tours across the United States and around the world and this is the absolute best one I've ever been on! If you love history or just want to find out interesting things about Beaufort, go on this tour. You will not be disappointed!

I cannot wait to bring my grandchildren back to Beaufort to take them on Jon's tour. He makes history come alive so that the kids can learn to live. His history tour was interesting, fun, informative and educational.

From the second we started our tour Jon began his fascinating narrative. It was filled with historical facts and detailed information on the buildings, trees, plants and flowers. We had taken a carriage tour a couple of years ago, but Jon's knowledge of Beaufort cannot be beat.
